Same route as before, we're going for a beach start again and the tides are perfect.
There will be 80 per wave and these will be sorted by swim time.
The route will be immediately in front of the beach at Claycastle, after a 250m swim out from the shore you'll be turning left and facing for town to swim 300m almost parallel to the shore. Listen to the briefing for some local knowledge & tips!
Last mark will be the turn for home, which will be clearly marked.
The pipe shown is a rainwater drain from the bog behind the car park

Out to Summerfield Cross and turning left to return to Claycastle - but you're not done yet, it's past Aura Leisure Centre and the Pitch & Putt with a bit of a pull, yep...a second lap of The Strand to get you 6.3K in all with the Finish Line located beside Transition.
The finish line is just inside the barrier at Claycastle, behind the dismount line. Go On - Give it Everything!
